Miss Nicole Brown

Prekindergarten

This is Miss Brown's fourth year at St. Pat's and she loves it! Miss Brown graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a B.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2012. She then went on to graduate with a Master's of Education from Southern New Hampshire University in 2015. She has experience teaching children from three years old through fifth grade.

Miss Brown feels blessed to have grown up in New Hampshire on the Seacoast. Her parents taught her to love everyone and to be the working hands of God. She loves to sing, play guitar, and teach American Sign Language to her students. Don’t be surprised if your children start signing at home!

When Miss Brown is not at school, she likes to get outside and go skiing, hiking, boating, bike riding, or just about anything to explore New England.

What will you learn?

Prekindergarten is the first school experience for most children. My goal is to help children discover a love for school and learning at a young age. To the prekindergarten student, St. Pat's is a place where they can make friends, discover new things, get messy, make mistakes, feel safe, and learn appropriate social behaviors. My classroom is a fun and happy space for young minds and small hands.

My faith influences every aspect of my classroom. For example, we learn about God’s world at recess, we thank God before we eat snack, we learn how to treat one another by studying the virtues, and we attend Church with the rest of the school. Prayer, talking with God, and living a Catholic lifestyle becomes the norm for these children. Great habits taught at a young age.
