Miss Rachel Hubby

This is Miss Hubby’s first year teaching at Saint Patrick’s Academy, but she is not new to our community. Miss Hubby went to Saint Pat’s from Pre-K to Eighth Grade and found her love of teaching in the halls of the school. After she obtained her B.S. in Elementary Education from Rivier University, she started working as a substitute in the school and as the Aftercare Director in the afternoons.

Miss Hubby believes in building a classroom community that fosters a love for our Faith and one that develops a strong desire to learn. She is excited to promote an enthusiastic and joyous atmosphere where her students can build lasting friendships and stimulate their academic curiosity.

When Miss Hubby is not in the classroom, you can find her spending time with her family. She loves taking her dog, Sophie, for walks and getting cuddles from her cat, Scrump.

What will you learn?

Preschool is the first experience for many children in a classroom setting. Within this experience, I want to foster the love of the Catholic faith and develop in each of my students a great desire to learn. In my class, children will build relationships with God, each other, and themselves in order to create a safe, strong class family. I will promote learning experiences by creating hands on, interactive, and fun lessons using songs, art, stories, and movement. I want to create an experience that acts as a catalyst to activate curiosity, enthusiasm, and a desire to learn.
