She received a BA Degree from the University of Arizona, on a full academic scholarship. She holds business certifications from the American Institute of Banking. A former VP in banking on the Seacoast, she answered the “call” to serve and promote the mission of Catholic education. She is a former Alumni, (as is her son, Kyle), Board Member, teacher, and Family Mass Coordinator at Sacred Heart School in Hampton. Recently, at North Hampton School she “ had the privilege” of holding teaching and support positions in General and Special Education (Pre-K -8), Middle School Case Manager, 7th and 8th Grade certified Educational Associate / Social Studies and Student Government Advisor. She taught various grade levels during the ESY Summer Program and was a Title I tutor at NHS.
Mrs. Brown believes in the importance of building strong relationships within her school and the broader community. She understands that connecting with students engages them to be life-long learners. She is both excited and committed to build and implement a faith-filled, academic, integrated, and experiential curriculum at Saint Patrick Academy.
When not teaching, Mrs. Brown is the primary caregiver for her Mom who lives with her, her husband Chuck (“Charlie Brown he’s a good man”), her son Kyle, and their Golden Retriever, Nutmeg “Meggie”. She enjoys antiquing and spending time at her two favorite places; the beaches on the Seacoast and the Arizona desert, both places where she feels at home.
My students will learn the importance of community and grow as citizens in their classroom, school, broader communities, and global community.
“Teaching is my passion; not a profession”; however, In my prior profession, I was a Vice President in the Financial Services Industry.
