I graduated from St. Michael’s College with a BA in Spanish and Education. Upon graduation, I taught French, Spanish, and implemented a World Cultures Class at Wells Jr. High for several years and brought that program to an academic status rather than a pass/fail program. I went on to teach in a large preschool center in New Jersey where I implemented a school-wide Spanish program. I also worked as a Team Leader for Catholic Charities of Maine at St. Elizabeth’s Child Development Center in Portland, Maine working with preschool children and their families. I acted as a lead teacher in the classroom, wrote developmental goals, met with therapists, and maintained children’s records.
