Mrs. Connors earned both her Masters Degree in Elementary Education and her B.S. in Design from Rivier College. She has taught Kindergarten in Catholic schools for twelve years, spending her first ten years teaching Kindergarten at Saint Benedict Academy in Manchester, followed immediately by teaching Kindergarten at Saint Patrick Academy. Her experience with young children includes teaching 3 and 4 year olds at a Christian preschool, directing summer camps for ages 4-8, teaching first grade CCD, along with tutoring elementary-aged students. She feels blessed to have found Saint Patrick Academy as it allows her to teach in a faith-filled environment AND to achieve her dream of living closer to the Seacoast. She is an actively involved teacher who utilizes many hands-on, differentiated techniques, creating a unique learning environment that generates excitement and fosters success for each student. Mrs. Connors is married with two grown daughters. She and her husband enjoy visiting with their daughters, along with camping and going to the beach in any season!
Kindergarten is a place where children come to play, learn, share and feel loved! They will learn to read, write sentences and stories, learn basic math concepts, make predictions and learn about Jesus, all in a safe and loving environment. Kindergarteners will also dramatize bible stories, taste and graph their favorite apples, hibernate along with their teddy bears, blast off to the moon in a homemade rocket ship, and distinguish the difference between bugs and insects!
Mrs. Connors had her first baby on the same day as her sister – 3 hours apart!
