Why Saint Patrick Academy
Why Saint Patrick Academy?
Excellence in Academics
Saint Patrick Academy is a place where academic and personal excellence are expectations for all. With our small community, we are able to truly know our students and help them to become the best version of themselves. We aim to individualize our programming so as to challenge those students who are ready for the extra push while encouraging those who need more assistance. Through our virtue program, we set students up for success in every area of their lives.
Catholic Faith & Values
The Saint Patrick Academy community works together to help students know God, serve God, and love God. The students experience the Catholic faith and its teachings first hand so that they can work for the common good and go out into the world as an example of Christ’s light. At Saint Patrick Academy, we start our day with morning prayer, say grace, attend weekly Mass, celebrate religious holidays, learn about faith in religion class, and focus on service to others.
Sense of Community
Saint Patrick Academy is a “home away from home” for our students, staff, and families. Our staff members know and love each of our students and their families and our foundation is built on these strong relationships. Faculty members seek to partner with parents in setting all children up for success.

virtue program
Each week, our students learn about a virtue.
When our children study obedience, for example, they learn its definition, what it looks like when it is practiced and what it sounds like when someone does it. Then, students make the long journey from head to heart by considering how they can cultivate it in their daily life – on the playground, in class and at home with you.
One of the greatest benefits to our Virtue Program is that our teachers, students and families are all thinking—in common—of the virtue of the week and how it can be lived out. Another unique benefit of our program is that it trains our teachers to look for the good in our students.
Throughout the school year, teachers recognize students for practicing virtue. The virtue of the week is a main focus of our weekly All School Assemblies each week. Students share in front of the whole school how they witnessed virtue in action, and we make connections between the virtue and the Catholic faith.

Each month, our students learn one of 10 virtues that fall under the parent virtues of Justice, Temperance, Fortitude and Prudence.

During the day, teachers recognize students for practicing virtue. In turn, students record it on a Virtue Tracker sheet that is sent home to inform parents. After they have made a record of the virtue practiced, they come and share their heroic tale with our Head of School!
