Mrs. Dwyer started with Saint Patrick School in 1999. She spent one year teaching junior high, before moving to third grade. She spent 19 years in third grade before moving to 4th grade in 2019. She graduated cum laude from Salem State University in Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Science in Education K-8. She is passionate about her students and helping them to be the best they can be. When former students are asked what they remember most about third or fourth grade, the most popular responses are the parties, sheep play & her dogs coming to school.
This year 4th grade will be celebrating the world of Walt Disney, “If you can DREAM IT you can do it!“ Mickey & Minnie Mouse will be showcased throughout the classroom. This quote, will be used to engage & motivate students to excel and grow. The goal in fourth grade is for students to become independent learners, that can recognize their strengths and weaknesses. We work on many projects using our writing, reading and creative skills: broadcasts, brochures, posters, stories, personal timelines, maps, Lemonade Wars (w/team economics) to name just a few.
