Camp Shamrock

Choosing the right summer program for your family is an important decision. The goal of our Program is to provide fun, fellowship, faith, and achievement to all participants. In all of our programs, we set out to provide an environment where students of all ages can learn and grow through the summer months.

Welcome to Camp Shamrock!

We are so excited for our third season of summer programming at Saint Patrick Academy. Join us for fun, friendship, and community. Please look through this catalog to learn more about our 2023 programs, many of which are new this year!

Programs

Explore the many program offerings for the 2023 season!

Day camp

Drop in for one week of camp or sign up for the entire summer! This program is designed to be flexible to meet the needs of our families. Each week of Camp Shamrock has a designated theme to set the tone for activities and events. Our daily schedule includes arts & crafts, field games, nature activities, STEAM experiences, and a variety of themed activities. Each week, campers will enjoy a fun field trip to an off-site location, ranging from the UNH pool to a movie at a theater! 

This program includes a scheduled lunch break, campers must pack a lunch.

Grade Levels: Entering 1st – 6th

Weekly Themes

Session #1: June 20 - 23 : The Amazing Race (Virtue: Respect)

Are you ready for a grand adventure this summer? Campers will compete in challenges while focusing on defining and living out the virtue of respect!

Please note that all 1st and 2nd grade registrants will spend the morning (8:30-noon) with Snapology’s STEM program and then join Camp Shamrock in the afternoon.

Session #2: June 26 - June 30 : Superhero Mania (Virtue: Fortitude)

Calling all superheroes to camp! We will be working all week to sharpen our superhero skills. Learn what it takes to become a superhero and use the virtues of honesty, respect, responsibility and fortitude as you navigate adventures!

Please note that all 3rd – 6th grade registrants will spend the morning with Snapology’s STEM program and then join Camp Shamrock in the afternoon.

Session #3: July 3 - July 7 (no camp on July 4) : Wind and Sea (Virtue: Perseverance )

Arrrrgh! Come on all ye pirates and join us on a treasure hunt of a lifetime! This swashbuckling journey will have our campers exploring the seven seas and coming across adventures left and right while focusing on the virtue of perseverance.

Session #4: July 10 - July 14 : Time Travelers (Virtue: Responsibility)

Fasten your seatbelts and get ready for a trip through time! Campers will jump back to the time of dinosaurs, fast forward to the futuristic time of flying cars, and explore everything in between while focusing on the virtue of responsibility.

Please note that all 1st and 2nd grade registrants will spend the morning with Snapology’s STEM program and then join Camp Shamrock in the afternoon.

Session #5: July 17 - July 21 : Water Week (Virtue: Respect)

Bring your swimsuit and goggles because we’re going for a dive Under the Sea! Get ready for a week of water themed crafts and activities. Summer is hot, but a series of fun water games and challenges will help keep you cool!

Please note that all 3rd – 6th grade registrants will spend the morning with Snapology’s STEM program and then join Camp Shamrock in the afternoon.

Session #6: July 24 - July 28 : Wilderness Survival (Virtue: Prudence)

Do you have what it takes to survive in the backcountry? Come test your skills at camp! We will learn what to do if you are caught in a storm, if that plant really is edible, and so much more while practicing the virtue of prudence. 

*Campers that are rising 5th and 6th graders are invited for a campout to put the skills they learn to the test!*

LITTLE SHAMROCKS CAMP

This program is designed with our younger students in mind. Students are invited to join us for one session or all of them!

Open only to SPA families, this program is structured similarly to our school year with an afternoon nap, outdoor play, arts & crafts, developmental games, and more.

Please note that two sessions (Session 3 and Session 6)
will be STEM-themed and run by Snapology.

This program includes a scheduled lunch break, campers must pack a lunch.

Grade Levels: Entering Pre-K4 – K

COUNSELOR IN TRAINING

This program is designed to provide leadership training to potential future camp counselors. The Shamrock in Training program includes: community building and off-site leadership field trips, training sessions, and opportunities to plan and facilitate activities for younger campers and help with virtue presentation during Camp Shamrock.

Grade Levels: Entering 7th and 8th

MORNING CLUB

Ease into summer with our Morning Club program! Drop off your students for a morning of sports, crafts, games, and time with friends!

This program is a half-day and does not include a
scheduled lunch break.

Grade Levels: Entering Pre-K4 – 8th

Babysitting Club

This program is designed to provide childcare for the day. Drop off your students for a morning of sports, crafts, games, and time with friends!

This program is either half-day or a full day. Full day includes a scheduled lunch break, campers must pack a lunch.

Grade Levels: Entering 1st – 6th

Back to School Boot Camp!

The Back to School Boot Camp is a new program this year!

For families looking to supplement the summer months with academic studies. This program is perfect for additional practice, skill review, and preparation for the coming school year.

Students will engage in project-based learning that is designed to sharpen their skills and prevent the summer slide.  Our staff is made up of Saint Patrick Academy teachers and Seacoast Literacy specialists. To maximize benefits, students should attend all six sessions.

Campers will be in classrooms by rising grade level. This is a morning program with no scheduled lunch break. Campers may opt to extend their day by adding attending Day Camp in the afternoon.

Grade Levels: Entering 1st – 6th

SNAPOLOGY STEAM CAMP

 Saint Patrick Academy is excited to host Snapology’s STEAM camp this summer! Each day will have a unique theme, Science Snoops, Tinkering in Technology, Engineering Extravaganza, Adventures in Art and Math Mania! Students ages 7-9 are eligible to sign up for the full day camp or one session for the week for an additional fee. 

This program is a half-day and does not include a
scheduled lunch break. Although students ages 7-9 are eligible to sign up for the full day for an additional fee and can pack a lunch.

Grade Levels: Ages 5-11

BASKETBALL CAMP

Join us for “pick-up” style play and fun at Basketball Camp! Participants of all skill levels are invited to participate. Each league includes a T-Shirt with registration! 

This program is a half-day and does not include a scheduled lunch break.

Grade Levels: Entering 5th – 8th

Registration & Forms

It's camp time!

Registration for all programs operated by Saint Patrick Academy is conducted through SPA’s registration system CampBrain. CampBrain is a secure camper management platform where families will have access to their children’s information, communication preferences, documents, and important details. 

Payment is due in full at the time of registration.
