This is my first year teaching at Saint Patrick’s Academy, but I am not a new face new to the community. I went to Saint Pat’s from Pre-K to Eighth Grade and found my love of teaching in the halls of the school. After I obtained my B.S. in Elementary Education from Rivier University, I started working as a substitute in the school and as the Aftercare Director in the afternoons. I now am the teacher of the Preschool classroom and could not be happier!
Preschool is the first experience for many children in a classroom setting. Within this experience, I want to foster the love of the Catholic faith and develop in each of my students a great desire to learn. In my class, children will build relationships with God, each other, and themselves in order to create a safe, strong class family. I will promote learning experiences by creating hands on, interactive, and fun lessons using songs, art, stories, and movement. We will learn all about the alphabet, our shapes, numbers, colors, and so much more. I want to create an experience that acts as a catalyst to activate curiosity, enthusiasm, and a desire to learn.
I absolutely love Disney! I try to get down to Florida every year to visit the happiest place on earth, Disney World. My cat is named after a character from Lilo and Stitch and I know all of the Disney songs by heart. Screen reader support enabled. I absolutely love Disney!
