Mrs. Bowser graduated from a private, all girls Catholic high school in Connecticut and earned my BA in Studio Art from the University of New Hampshire. She completely fell in love with the seacoast and has lived and worked in Portsmouth and Rye since 1994.
She has 3 daughters that have attended SPA and Catholic high school since they were 3 years old and she has been a practicing Catholic, student and supporter of the arts, her entire life. She studied oil painting in Italy and would love to get back there someday. Mrs. Bowser continues to paint and she has had her personal art in private collections and has been accepted to juried art shows in the area
For 20 years, she has worked as a marketing professional and graphic designer in agencies and corporate marketing environments in MA and NH during the very exciting birth of the internet. Teaching Art and STEM is a second career and passion for her and she is continuing her education in Arts Integration and Art Therapy to support SEL in the classroom.
Students will learn the fundamental elements and principles of art while exploring techniques and art movements from different times in history, cultures around the world and artists of a variety of disciplines. They will learn not to give up when something doesn’t go their way, to use their imagination and to make the best of every mark they make.
