I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Studies from Plymouth State University and a Master’s of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Lesley University. This is my 13th year teaching at Saint Pat’s. My passion is to educate young minds, helping them blossom into well-rounded, responsible, and successful individuals. I believe that learning should be engaging and enjoyable. I have a one year old son, Elijah who a lot of students know as “Baby Elijah”. My husband and I are expecting our second child in March!
Students will discover how to become active participants in their learning by taking risks, asking questions, and joining in on group discussions. Teaching has always been an opportunity for me to encourage my students to work as a team and be respectful of one another. Social and emotional skills are needed for students to be successful individuals, as well as caring and contributing citizens. Without these skills, learning capacity cannot grow and the whole child is not developed. Collaboration, respect, cultural awareness, empathy, compassion, and responsibility are key education behavior traits for students to encompass through their lifelong learning.
I absolutely love Christmas and do a countdown every year! (My wedding was Christmas themed)
