Our Mind Body Spirit campaign has resulted in an increased ability to deliver an Education that is Fully Alive through the construction of our own multi-purpose facility right here on campus. Our recent gymnasium project will allow a space for students and faculty to explore activities including physical education and sports, and space for the visual and performing arts. We believe that having space for students to be physically active and involved in visual arts is just as important as their education.
Mind
Our new gymnasium will not only exercise the body, but it will also exercise the mind. Our goal is to ignite the imagination of students and teach them to take ideas from creativity to implementation.
Body
Our Saint Patrick Academy students have great energy! Their enthusiasm and energy will enable us to have more frequent classes and after school activities that encourage students to keep moving! Sitting in a classroom all day can be challenging for many students, but with increased movement throughout the day including running, jumping, playing, and healthy competition – this will enable students to make healthy habits and keep them.
Spirit
We deliver Education Fully Alive through our curriculum. Our new facility will connect our beliefs in faith with our extracurricular activities by promoting safe and challenging activities. The programs in our new facility will fulfill our students’ hearts with teamwork, community, effort, and pursuit of excellence. This will provide a space for students to participate in musicals, plays, performing arts, as well as a central location to host our summer programming.
We’re looking forward to opening our new gymnasium to welcome students and faculty to participate in their favorite activities. We glorify God when we expand our capabilities and develop our talents so we may know honor, and serve Him, who loves us, more fully.
Help us reach our goal by giving to our new facility to empower students to grow and thrive. Your contribution will have a positive impact on so many lives, and on our community for years to come. To donate, go to https://saintpatrickacademy.org/support-us/ and select “Mind Body Spirit”.
Saint Patrick Academy ready for new future
Hundreds celebrated the grand opening Sunday, May 13, of Saint Patrick Academy, which recently moved from Austin Street to 315 Banfield Road. “Three miles makes all the difference,” said Head of School Mark Schwerdt when asked about the impact the new 28,000-square-foot facility will have on Saint Patrick Academy’s education.
